I subscribe to “Birds and Blooms” magazine. They have dedicated whole issues to butterfly gardens. You can see if they have a website. Since I don’t like butterflies, I haven’t really read the articles. But the magazine is wonderful for birds, butterfly’s and flowers. It’s worth checking out.

It sounds like you already have a great start! I did some research on them just a few weeks ago. The one thing that makes it a challenge in my eyes, is that, different butterflys-like different flowers. So you will expand the experience, by having several Host and Nectar plants.

One day I was out watering, in my gardens- that can take an hour. In that time one butterfly, went around to several of the plants on the south side of my home, left my yard for the neighbors garden, then, came back to my yard. It then went around to the other side of our home, and out of my sight.

If you need websites, you can write to me and I’ll look in my notebooks!

    Good Luck,
    The Garden Lady
