The 1938 stamps are Scott Catalog #804, the George Washington Presidential Issue Stamp. They are 1 cent each and they are still attached as a pane of 4. The 2006 stamps are either Scott Catalog #4000, 4001, or 4002, the Common Buckeye Butterfly Stamps. There are two of them and they are 24 cents each and are adhered separately.

The stamps are not worth much. A lot of the US stamps after 1935 were printed in huge quantities. You can buy sheets of those stamps at about face value and use for postage along with modern stamps. But check perforations and measure as there are varieties of it but worth more in mint then used in most cases.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I use old stamps like this every day on my mail, as I buy them from stamp dealers unused with full original gum for less than face value. They are worth very little used – give them to a stamp collector, as it will cost more to list them on eBay than they will sell for. Stamp collectors will be able to find a child or other new collector who will love to have them.
