best time to move plants is in the spring especially if you live in a cooler area, but if you choose to move it, you must make sure to get the whole root ball, and that isnt always easy to do with any plant. if i were you i woulndt move it, i would leave it where it is.

You can move it now but it will probably go into shock in the heat of the summer. You really should wait until the spring time when it’s just coming up. If you want to move it soon, just make sure you take as much dirt around the root ball as you can. Put the water in before you backfill the dirt into the hole and then mulch. It will be in shock but should be able to bounce back once temps get back to the 70’s.

If you don’t have to move it, wait.
You can move it but it will struggle for a long time, and may die.
Early fall will be OK when it gets back down into the 60 degree temperatures, will be a much better time. When you transplant get as much dirt with it as possible. Water the plant a couple of hours before you move it, that will insure that the dirt doesn’t fall apart.
